Snake Tale

Daughter: I like snakes. I want to have one
Mum: Snakes are dangerous, they can bite you and you can die if they are poisonous
Daughter: Oh! OK. How about mummy snakes?
Mum: They can also bite..
Daughter: How about Daddy snake?
Mum: They also bite ...
Daughter: How about granny snake?
Mum: They also bite ...

She sits down for a second and then asks again;

Daughter: Does the granny snake have a cane?
Mum: I don't think so.

This is a true conversation between Dalitso and her mother after coming from plant sale show where she saw some snakes. Why granny snake have a cane question? I asked her, and she answered "so I can kill it if the snake try yo bite me". I sat down for a second and I laughed.
