Beaches, What do I know

Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes (Baby Board Books)
Have you ever wondered why the beach and young kids, apparently are best friends. Well I have some evidence for you. We went to the beach, one is a lake and the city brought the sand to make the beach for the town residents and the other one is a real beach by the ocean - just wanted to make the distinction - , and you could not take those twins out of the water and away from the sand.

I came to a quick realisation that sand and children are best friend for a reason. Here is a video evidence of what I am talking about.

First walk on the beach lake. A little strange

I have some more video evidence, but I think I should keep that for the next post plus it has to be edited. But some picture evidence before and after the beach are:
Now The Finale of the ordeal
Warmed up to the Sand

By the time they were done they were covered in sand. Went to the lake to wash off and when time to go arrived, trying to get them to walk across the sand it's like trying to take candy from a kid. They reached on the ground and still scooped some sand and managed to throw it in the air. By the time we reached the washing area, they were covered in sand like they were rolling on the ground. Mind you, this was a short walk of 30 yards from the water. Through all this, I made sure that they enjoyed themselves while not misbehaving or screaming.
These are the joys of parenting. I have to thank God for giving us such beautiful babies. I pray that I guide them through the right path.

They quickly warmed up to the idea of playing in the sand and water.I must thank you for reading the blog and I will keep posting more pictures. Stay tuned to this blog. Home Made Baby Food

Image via Wikipedia Not until recently have I decided to start looking at the food that I buy for my children. For some time I have been observing and keeping track of what is added in the food for the babies ranging from green beans and to canned sweet potatoes. While looking at the ingredients for the bottled food for the babies, I was also comparing the prices of the food with other different brands. I also compared the prices of all the different brands with making the food from scratch. After all the investigation, I have discovered that it is easy to make the baby food. It is also cheaper and safe to make your own baby food rather than buying. The Food You Crave: Luscious Recipes for a Healthy Life After an extensive research (exegeration but some time of research) and comparison on baby food products, I started making my own baby food. I make sweet potatoes, green beans, sweet potatoes, carrots, mixes vegetables and many more. It is simple to make. In order to make any of...

First walk, more to come

I woke up this morning to a cool breezy sunny weather, I don't know if that can be used in one sentence, and not to mention the talking of my twin babies. I open my eyes only to see her on my stomach looking in my face with a shirt saying "daddy's little alarm clock." Indeed it she was the alarm clock screaming on top of her lungs for me to wake up, she wasn't crying but loud enough to wake someone up. This brought back the memories when they were just born, I was waking up in the middle of the night to feed them, change the diaper - YES I said it, change diaper - and also hold them both in my hands and put them to sleep. All that hasn't changed that much only most of the times they go to sleep on their on - they are big girls at 5 months. After feeding them, I decided to tale them for their their first walk in the trails. As I was walking through the trails, they were quiet all the way looking around, seems aware of what is going on. Looking at the oncoming ...

Another Year, Another Fathers Day

A year has gone and another year has come since I had my first father's Day. As I look back, time seems to be flying by so quickly. Since last father's day when they were 4 months old, I can't believe today that they have started pointing at what they want instead of crying, they want to go wherever I want to go, they run to the door whenever I am coming home from wherever I went (they listen to the keys at the door - they really have acute listening). They seem to show up before their favourite part of a movie comes on and then disappear to the other room after the part ends. Fathers day is approaching quickly and I am not sure if I am prepared for it. Maybe because I am not looking forward to it, or I don't know the reason why it was started. But one thing is for certain, I don't wan't anything but a normal day like the rest of the year. And when I look at their faces smiling at me, you can't resist when they are giving me something from my own office de...
